One of the currently most influential bands in heavy German-language Rock music returns. Ost+Front's new single "Sternenkinder" (limited to 999 copies in a hand numbered Digipak) provides an anthemic first look into the upcoming album "Ultra", which will be due for release in early 2016.
Hard guitar riffs meet orchestral prowess and choral pomp… on the first advance single from their upcoming new album, Ost+Front display a musical versatility and maturity like never before. As a band that has never been shy of tackling controversial subjects, they are displaying an almost poetic care on their latest effort, treating a painful matter with the utmost respect in a song that is a haunting, yet catchy fusion of Metal and Symphonic elements. As a b-side "Sternenkinder" offers a magnificent orchestral version of another song off the next album, the heavily Classical-influenced "Moldau." Additional remixes from Blutengel and Rob Dust cater to the clubs with smashing beats. With this impressive appetizer for their third album, Ost+Front have properly established themselves as one of the most important innovators on the scene.
