"FEEL!" was released 23 January and enticed us at once with its bait of 9 different mixes of one track. The method is by all means right. After having listened to the song Feel! nine times in various versions, in the end we know it by heart. Especially as it is a very catchy song. Heavy vocals of Petera Spilles, melody of stanzas and refrain, and moreover the lyrics saying about such well known rules of life "another day, another pain, another war, another law, another girl, another boy, another lie, another sky(...)here is the pain that you can feel". The title FEEL! is provided with an exclamation mark (and so is the title of entire album), which may suggest to draw special attention to the song’s message. Next remixes show exactly by whom they were made. Each of us will find their favourite version of the mix. If I were to choose my own number-one type, this would most probably be the one by SITD. Parties may also get dominated by versions of Noisuf X and The Retrosic without any major "but". The most surprising point on the single is the last mix: Jurgen Jansen Victorian Mix. After the first coming cross with this version you can wonder: is this really the same song? By lyrics and vocals we can say yes. But nothing more was left of it. Yet it is not a fact against it, I’d say - contrary. There’s nothing like good (mis)interpretation. The fans will surely like the new song. Those who don’t know Project Pitchfork unfortunately weren’t given a chance to get to know something more but one song, and those who don’t like Project Pitchfrok, are not foreseen to change their minds in a sudden wondeful way. Now there’s just a question left: What will the whole album Dream, Tiresias! sound like? What will we be given to hear, what can it surprise us with? We’ll see it soon.
