New Soman's album, just like the devil from the box, pops out of our headphones and makes our ears dance, but back to the point. Music being something between industrial dissonance and the clubbing beat perfectly fits in with my expectations about modern electronic music.
It has energy and creativity, which I miss in another bands' productions. Blasé voice of the girl in title track “ Mask” drags us into strange “ Soman's melodies”, you listen and you want more. The same you can find in mixed-up '”Twister” or “ Defail” where the main theme is very close to those you can hear in clubs like “Ekwador”, but thanks to it, it contrasts to the whole palette of dissonances and whizzes creating a hit.
The record is packed with good songs, without needless complaining and doing no-one knows what. Ideal at the black – latex – mechanical parties, and even better for listening.
