I've come across  Streeturchin for the first time thanks to this album and although I'm aware that the group has already released 2 albums – „Blown Away” (2002) and „Why Not” (2003) – I may definitely state, that there is nothing to worry about – „Blown Away” is included in the newest compilation. I admit that my approach towards the  group was marked with distance since until  I listened the album I'd known the French groups playing only hard electronic or noise music.  I was pleasantly surprised though, because Streeturchin  makes the music similar to U2 and Depeche Mode, which, by the way, I'm not particularly fond of, yet...„Native” has something to it which attracted me. Bit of electronic sounds, vocal similar to DM and the catchy melodies whose line is kept throughout the whole album. Owning to that, the album has no better or worse recordings. I truly recommend the album „Native”  to both fans of DM and to those who aren't convinced to their music yet. Each should find something to satisfy his/her taste, each should be pleased.  I'm afraid of one thing only – that thanks to  Streeturchin I'll start liking DM and U2 :)
