The Holy Kiss announce last album and european tour

The Holy Kiss, San Francisco's long running grimy, blues-influenced, post-punk group. The band will release their third full length LP "Under Noon of Night", returning to Hungry Eye Records. The record will be pressed onto vinyl and limited to 500 copies, with a hand-screened cover, and released in March of 2009.
"Under Noon of Night" features the first recordings of the Holy Kiss line up with Panther on bass and Alli (ex-Cold War) on guitar, which gained a reputation around the Bay Area as one of the most intense and unrestrained line-ups the band's had. Singer Matty is now freed from guitar for an even more unrestrained vocal delivery with his distinctive wail. Throughout the course of their career, they've drawn comparisons to some of the old guard of Australian post-punk/ rock (These Immortal Souls, Crime and the City Solution), punk-y roots rock like the Gun Club, or more contemporary names like 16 Horsepower and Black Heart Procession.
We will see The Holy Kiss for a tour of Europe in March/ April of 2009. Finally, spring of '09 will also see their second LP "Shot Love on a Back Line".
