This is the brand new single by the Swedish duet Militant Cheerleaders on the Move. They are clearly inspired by masters of EBM like Nitzer Ebb or Spetsnaz : they revive the classic electronic music by pumping great amounts of energy into it. Honestly speaking, when I was listening to the album for the first time, I was convinced that it WAS Nitzer Ebb. The similarity is so striking, that it's hard to get rid of this impression -at least I wasn't able to do it. I'm also convinced that the 4 recordings included in „Freaks” would be great for the dancefloor, my only doubts are whether anyone would be able to keep with this crazy speed or not. I'd like to recommend Militant Cheerleaders on the Move especially to the Djs. It hardly happens to me that while listening to some recording my leg is jumping, but when I listen to „Freaks” it's hard to avoid it. Killing rhythm dragged me immediately, it's a pity that only for such a short time.
