The world is drowning even faster in nightmarish visions and all thanks to Thomas Rainer and his solo project, Nachmtahr. After Rainer appointed himself a ‘dance dictator’ and turned all dancefloors into battlefields, he went on a campaign on the America’s East Coast. As the campaign draws to an end, the austrian industrial soldier receives a new objective.

As the campaign draws to an end, the austrian industrial soldier receives a new objective – to set free the murderer. You can now listen to a new track, ‘Mörder’ (‘Murderer’), on Nachtmahr’s MySpace site. To the pattern of the previous album, ‘Alle Lust will Ewigkeit’ leaves the stongest blow for the very end. ‘Murderer’ mesmerises us with disturbing, yet fascinating, samples. Nevertheless, the track later on becomes truly devastating. Devastating enough to crush all and any resistance there might still be in us. This was to be expected, as the albums title (‘All joy wants eternity’) clearly brings to mind the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. And it finally becomes cleat – Nachtmahr is not an attempt to bring back some shattered memories. It’s a particular state of mind, a warrior’s spirit, a apotheosis of sin, lust and rumbling beats.
