Go Ahead Agency & Galicja Productions invites to the two concerts of Peter Hook! Legendary Joy’s Division bassist with The Light band will perform on March 26th at Krakow Club Kwadrat & on March 27th at Warsaw Club Palladium.
Musicians will play a set containing the most famous recordings of Joy Division, therein whole album"Unknown Pleasures" with such hits as "Disorder", "She's Lost Control" or "Shadowplay", & also "Isolation" or "Heart And Soul".Peter Hook will play with The Light. The first performance of the album "Unknown Pleasures" with this group took place in May 2010 at reactivated by Peter Hook Club Factory(FAC 251). The show obtained a great opinions from the audience & media. They accentuated unusually sedulous mapping of this cult group’s tapes & agnized this project as a remarkable tribute to Ian Curtis. One year ago in February polish audience had also a occasion to check out live condition of Peter Hook. Gig was met with very enthusiastic reception.
Peter Hook is a legendary institution of Brititsh rock scene. Bassist & Joy Division & New Order founder, he played also in a Monaco, Revenge, Freebass(jointly with Stone Roses bassist- Manim & Andy Rourke, The Smiths’ bassist). In the 80’s he was also a producer of such groups as Inspiral Carpets or The Stone Roses. He was strongly associated with Manchester’s scene, which was centre around Hacjenda Club(Hook was co-owner for a few years). One of the character of Michael Winterbottom’s movie entitled "24 Hour Party People" & Anton Corbijn’s "Control".
