Mela Koteluk
The show was short and rather calm. However, the seven performed songs definitely warmed up the viewers. Although the assembled were certainly Archive fans, the band was very warmly received and people clearly had fun with their music. What helped for sure was singer’s good contact with the audience.
Interesting part of the show was a moment when the singer sang only to the accompaniment of guitarist playing the ukulele. The whole show pleasantly rocked.

Intro greeted those who came with an electronic cacophony decorated with bells. Increasing and throbbing noise continued in the first two songs. Wherein the second one at times offered brief moments of relief enriched with the voice of Maria Quintile. Full of energy, apparent chaos intertwined with calmer rhythms. Alternately following one after another were waves of instrumental tides guiding into a kind of trance and more quiet, often filled with vocals, moments of breath. With a large dominance of the former.
Stick Me in My Heart has brought a longer moment of silence, which for a few minutes calmed down the audience only to carry the fans away again in a more energetic pace as the song developed.
With a far greater applause Violently - a track from band’s latest album, was received. The crowd sang more bravely and loudly along with Holly Martin, band’s new singer.
The next two songs also brought longer moments of relief. The first one was a new song Build and Construct with Maria Quintile on vocals. The second one was probably the most warmly received song throughout the whole concert - Again.
After Fuck U, announced as a song with a deep message, it was time for progressive Pills. Both lively received by the audience and sang loudly.
With the next three songs, quiet at first, then progressively-chaotic, the concert has ended.
The band started the first encore quietly and calmly with all members, that is, with all the singers on stage. The slight melancholic mood remained also for the next song, but was destroyed by a lively applause that greeted another single track from With Us Until You're Dead album - Hatchet. The first encore ended with a very emotional title track from the previous studio album - Controlling Crowds.
The second encore was a great surprise for the fans gathered at the concert. Short - they played only two songs, but it ended with a very well known and heartily received Bullets.
A huge audience gathered for the concert and it was definitely worth coming there. Everything from the music to the lighting perfect in sync with it was at the highest level and it will surely stay in the memory of fans.
