The new Polish industrial/ambient project was created in autumn 2004. Their name was chosen deliberately. "Compulsive Shopping Disorder" is what they show in their songs and lyrics - an unstoppable sick urge to possess, so frequently found in today's world.

Their first demo was ready on the 13th of March 2006.
It consists of four tracks, beginning with "Dreams", a quite exceptional song in my opinion. Its ritual and hypnotic message brings the listener into a pleasant, trance mood. Aside from very deep lyrics (you can read those at http://www.csd.block.punkt.pl/teksty.html), it sounds in an intriguing manner. As the authors themselves put it "during our work on music we use only synth and sampler sounds", so you should pay attention
to all tones and passages.

The next track, "In Confidence", sounds like old school EBM. The spoken word vocals tell you an everyday story, getting more emotional at the end.
"Soul", the longest song on the demo, begins quite peacefully, tranforming into a heavy but also impressive and delightful vocal performance accompanied by noises and interferences.
The last and shortest one, "Attraction of Pain" maintains the harmony of the other tracks, being mostly an instrumental track creating a gloomy and soothing mood.
CSD gives you painful examples of the new reality - you can see it clearly in their music as well as words. I give you my sincere recommendation, you should listen to this!

Tracklist:

1. Dreams  6:12
2. In Confidence  6:29
3. Soul  8:00
4. Attraction of Pain  4:53
