A few days ago I came across a “demo” of d’Archangel - the band from the city Wrocław. From the very beginning I was positively surprised by this album. Despite the fact, that it contains only 5 recordings (including a bonus track) one may imagine what the band can really offer basing on the material given. The group's music is the pleasant combination of goth-rock and synthpop elements. There is no artificiality or some false tones in the music ; each recording was carefully chosen. Then, it's not a surprise that d 'Archangel was invited to take part in Wave Gotik Treffen. We will be duly represented and I hope that after their performance they'll find a label recording company and emerge successfully in the alternative music environment. I recommend the “demo” to every fan of the lighter sounds. For me personally it is 90%, because after listening to these 5 recordings one wants more and more and because of the lack of the whole album we start listening to the demo once again. I don't like insufficiency :)
