This time we set off on a journey following the trail of the old excursions, moving at slow pace to the rhythm of caravans. As far as the eye can see, amazing landscapes figuratively filled with exotic and orient sounds spread on the horizon. A scent of cardamom waftes in the air and the atmosphere seems to be saturated by an overwhelming perfume of a wide range of particular spices. We are accompanied by a variety of sounds, starting from delicate flutes to cacaphonic echoes of an Eastern market.
One can clearly discern a specific sound of the instruments, so characteristic of the regions, which we are travelling across as the tracks change. Each stage marks a different place - a city on the trading trail taken from the remote past and each track was composed in an extraordinary manner, which gently takes the listener to the world of musical fairy tales. The climax of the record - "Thaton" constitutes an exceptionally, yet longing track.
For a change, in "Akhim" appears an Arabian chant. As the musical layer of the song continues to unravel, one can have an impression of being transfered straight form the very heart of the desert to the very center of a market, whose variety of colors and exoticsm send shivers down your spine.
"Saphar" is no less surprising - it absorbs, just like the stories from One Thousand and One Night.
The album is well spiced, as though it was a royal dish containing loads of positive energy from the remote parts of the world.
It is definitely worth trying and savoring. Let it please your senses!
