Cold Fusion and Rukkanor are wonderful Polish ambient projects. The first has already released a very good material entitled "Report". The second, in turn, is famous for the excellent album "Requiem for K-141 KYPCK" devoted to the Russian mariners who died on the nuclear submarine KURSK that sank on 12 August 2002 in Barents Sea. Si it's no surprise that the MCDR split of the two bands entitled "Wunderwaffe" released as a limited edition in 100 copies was sold out almost at once. The CD features two tracks that commemorate the victims of hitleric “wonder weapons” that is the bombs V-1 and rackets V-2. The publishing was of a wonderful quality and atmosphere: it was perfectly balanced and as such deserved the high notes. Now, "Wunderwaffe" is back, this time in a version extended up to 6 tracks. I must admit that Rukkanor and Cold Fusion's professionalism and atmosphere are absolutely astonishing. Each project has 3 tracks and two of them are repetitions of the first release of the split. As I have already mentioned – they are just perfect. New material keeps up with it. Thanks to the work of two different projects the CD is definitely diversified one: Cold Fusion presents melodious, vivid tracks full of military marches atmosphere. Rukkanor, on the other hand, takes us to the journey to the centre of III Reich where among the moans of the machines Hitler's 'wonder weapon' was constructed. The sounds are distressing and work upon the imagination very strongly – that's the shortest summary I may give about the new Rukkanor's material. The whole deserves high notes: each track is innovative and leaves no place for boredom.
