Afflicted By Design - This Is Not A Love Song
On 25 February 2015, Afflicted By Design will make their third release with the single, "This Is Not A Love Song;" a goth-industrial inspired version of the classic song by Public Image Ltd. "This Is Not A Love Song" is the second single from Afflicted By Design's cover song project.
For the cover song project, Afflicted By Design will be covering songs by bands that influenced and inspired the musical upbringing of Afflicted By Design's S.A. Sebastian Gnolfo. Public Image Ltd, whose post-punk fusion of rock, dance, folk, pop and dub, is one such band that has left an indelible mark on him.For "This Is Not A Love Song" Michael J. Carrasquillo (Slick Idiot, isol8ed) returns on drums, and reunites Sebastian with former Otto's Daughter bandmates Jacqueline Van Bierk on vocals and Jim Robbins on guitar solos.
