Black Anthology of The Deep Eynde out soon!
Transmitting from underground Los Angeles, The Deep Eynde’s 5th release ''Blackout'', continues to establish themselves as one of the longest running underground acts currently in the United States. Their new release Blackout is more than just an anthology, it is a monument that marks the band’s return to an organic sound. The project includes a cross-section of remastered, out of print and unreleased tracks from their early days; as well as rare video footage which highlights the history of a local band whos roots run deep within the global underground movement for over 15 years.

From the early 1990’s, The Deep Eynde's eclectic evolution has propelled them beyond their dark beginnings into a broader realm of music. From punk to gothic; from CBGB’s to the Whiskey; The Deep Eynde has permeated the very fabric of several distinct musical genres on a level unmatched by other bands of their caliber. Blackout mirrors the lost voice of musicians who have devoted their lives to music and touring; but more imporantly, it is for those that are able to translate the tale of their experiences into the texture of sound.

Blackout is not only a celebration of their humble beginnings, but also a historical journey through the years that comes full circle with their newest song “My Darkest Hour”,recorded in April of 2008. It has been described by Face to Face’s sound Engineer, as “Classic Deep Eynde.” for more info, go to www.myspace.com/thedeepeynde or www.peoplelikeyou.de
