Helen Marnie (Ladytron) working on her solo album!
Helen Marnie from Ladytron has launched her solo career. We don’t know yet a title of the debut album, but sure enough that release produces by Ladytron’s Daniel Hunt and that CD comes out in March.
After 5 studio albums with Ladytron, Marnie decided to use the spare time in between Ladytron albums to make an album of her own.
"I decided to fly to Iceland to record in a studio there. The light is so pretty, the air fresh, the sea vast, that I thought it would be the perfect setting to record"- she says.

Helen Marnie was born in Glasgow in 1978 and is a classically trained pianist. She has a BA in pop music.
