Mechanical Apfelsine - R.E.D.
Russian synth pop band Mechanical Apfelsine have recently released their second album.
Mechanical Apfelsine is one of the best Russian synthpop bands. It was formed in 1998, but it had taken more than ten years of experiments with different styles, before they finally released their debut album "Space without end" on the Russian Shadowplay Records in 2009. The album received a lot of positive feedback from fans of synthpop music from all over the world. The band successfully toured across Russia and performed at the biggest local festivals like Synthetic Snow, Dark Entries and Ravens’ Fest. In 2010 they teamed up with two other renowned Russian bands, Purple Fog Side and Haloed Ghost, to release the collaboration album "Trinity". The collaboration was praised by fans as one of the best Russian synthpop releases of 2010. In September 2012, Mechanichal Apfelsine released the long-awaited follow-up to their debut album named "R.E.D.". The new album is sure to appeal to fans of both classic and modern synthpop with its great music and excellent production!
