Selaxon Lutberg - "Margini"
A new release by Selaxon Lutberg, made of 4 long-length tracks (approximately 38 min.), assembled upon the processing of violins, cellos, piano, filed recordings, vocals, synth (only included in the third track), guitars (used once in a track, to create background feedbacks), accordions, etc.
It is yet unclear if “Margini” should be considered as a “concept” album – information included in the artwork are minimal – but the title, the cover and of course the sound are reminiscent of a sort of pacific isolation condition, a conscious escape from external “noise”; from this point of view some separation factors can be found vs. the previous release “ Cold House of Love”: the latter is more painful, memories and unsaid things-related…The cover shows a fence dividing some houses, within a balance between a melancholic isolation and a contemplating breakaway.
