What were the eighties for you? How did you get albums? What was your hairstyle? Among the interviewed there are Anja Orthodox, Robert Robal Matera, Sławek Ciesielski, Marek Wiernik, Jurek Owsiak and Glaca. There are memories of not only the famous and popular in the book. The authors questioned also their friends and acquaintances. The book consists of over 250 pages on which there memories, old photographs, cards, posters, press cuttings and fanzines, it is published the same way like in the eighties. In 2002 the idea was born in the minds of Kasia Andrzejewska and Artur Szuba to write down the memories of people for whom, like for themselves, the eighties constituted a unique time in their lives and to release it in a form of a book. It was the time when rock music flourished settled in Poland in various different forms. The thing was called "Where are they?" by the authors who were going to concerts, clubs, radio stationsand asked the same questions: What were the eighties for you? And how did they influence you?
