Our Polish labels Beast of Prey and Zoharum have combined their powers and brought into being the very first paper newsletter dedicated to the widely-perceived scene of anti-music. Seeing the utter ignorance of so-called mainstream press publishers, ignoring the earlier-mentioned phenomenon in their media, the representatives of those two labels decided to meet the expectations of the fans of industrial music, as well as dark ambient, noise and avant-garde, creating a magazine which is directed strictly at this group of people.

There is a great number of groups in Poland which are characterised by diverse and intriguing artistic value. Lack of promotion and interest of media in a sense exiles some of them into the depths of Myspace, Facebook, or some other portals where the amount of information makes it almost impossible to find a select and appealing offer. What comes into being as a result of the search is the album Shadow Places: Selected Tracks From The Darker Side, which is a compilation of 13 tracks representing the multiplicity of subgenres of dark independent music. You may find here a stylistic mixture varying from gentle darkwave (Kaltherzig) and melodic gothic (FireFlower), through cold wave (The Proof, Hyoscyamus Niger), deathrock (Deathcamp Project), batcave (Cabaret Grey) to end up with heavy and gloomy trip/ambient by Black Glass.

The new album of Ulver to be released at the end of March!

A Norwegian band ULVER chose the second half of March 2011 as a date for the release of their upcoming album. The tenth one in their discography will be entitled "Wars of the Roses", instead of "Critical Geography" as it had been previously stated. The tour promoting the forthcoming record of the Wolves begins on 22 March at Koko in London and is due to reach Poland on 5 April.

New Single - The Day from Moby

In a blogpost Moby announces the release of a new single, "The Day", out on 9th may. "The Day" is taken from his upcoming new studio album, "Destroyed",
which he will release on his own label Little Idiot on May 16th. The package will include the original album track, with remixes from Lifelike,Basto,Gesaffelstein, Eddie Thoneick and Funkerman.

End of Faithless

Bad news from the Faithless camp. In a message left on the official Faithless website, Maxi Jazz announces the end of the Faithless. The band hereby comes to and end after 15 years and six albums. Maxi: "I think we've probably made our collective point by now and that it's time to close the book and return to the library…"
