New single from Erasure

Born in 80’s duet Erasure comes back this week with a brand new single called "Boy" and on this release, expect song "Boy" you’ll finde "Cry So Easy" and "I Bet You’re Mad At Me" and one instrumental song composed by Vince Clark "Jacques Cousteau". This single single is part of the band's next acoustic album "Union Street" which features a collection of the bands previously released songs, reinterpreted.

CABARET, together with Artoffact Records are opening a design competition concerning the cover artwork for the second single from the 'Homophobia' LP - Rain On My Skin. The design should not contain any text (band name, song title), but only graphics. The technique is open (drawing, photo, digital photo collage).

Therion vocalist fed up with singing

Christofer Johnsson - a leading vocal of scandinavian Therion, one of the stars on this year Metalmania festival in Poland, is considering to stop singing. The reason is that he's getting old and his voice (as he claims) is weaker, and also he is fed up with singing old songs. He will sing for the last time in England on a festival The ProgPower and than they have no plans till 2007.

Bloody flowers grow on Springtime

Bloodflowerz take off to conquer music world with their new LP "Dark Love Poems". Kept in cold and darkness poems will finally see the daylight on 23 June.

Last weekend a couple of music journalist could hear this new material and it convinced them. Hypno melodies, heartbreaking confessions, dreamy ballads and love with many faces – that’s what those new 11 songs will tell you!

A Message from Vlrk, the singer of Grendel, about his experiences with the US authorities on the hunt for terrorists:

Very bad news: I have been in detention for the last two days, trying to get into the US from Canada. I have been rejected on the basis of apparently being a spreader/carrier of `obscene and communist political extremist` material (total bullshit) based on the following:

• T-shirts: Feindflug `Volk und Armee`, Combichrist `Enjoy the Abuse`, one depicting a Kolasjnikov gun and some rockabilly shirts by Monster & Felon.
• CD`s: Suicide Commando, Leaetherstrip `Suicide Bombers` and two Laibach CDs.
• Lyrics sheet of Grendel. Didn`t include the band name or titles, so they probably thought it was speech or something.

Digital Factor after 5 years

12 May is the day of premiere of a new Digital Factor album. This German EBM band will release "One More Piece" LP after 5 years of silence nad will join EBM and electro-clash styles.
