One of the biggest announcements made by Metropolis Records for 2006 was the signing of electronic pop pioneer Gary Numan. The first release on his new North American home will be Jagged, his first studio album in over five years. Co-produced with underground electronic artist DJ Ade Fenton (best known for his Advanced Records label), Jagged is an aggressive, forward-looking album which takes the best elements of his previous work and gives them an anthemic, contemporary twist. New Massive Attack album

It seems that the newest album of the band Massive Attack - despite the fact that the recording is supposed to finish at the end of August - will be out at the beginning of 2007. However, the fans  needn't despair – the promised double CD album  "Collected"  will be released on 27th March 2006. The first CD will feature the best (according to the musicians) tracks that the band recorded before (e.g. Unfinished Sympathy', 'Safe From Harm','Protection', 'Teardrop' and 'Angel'), whereas the second  - unknown and rare ones. On 13th March the single promoting the publishing , that is "Live With Me" recorded with Terry Callier, will be out.
