Sólstafir and Legend - split 7"

If there is one thing the music scene in Iceland is known for, it's interesting collaborations and unexpected, often brilliant results. That may well be an understatement for the new split 7" collaboration between two Icelandic acts that defy categorization: Sólstafir and Legend. The split 7" finds each band covering a track from the other band, in a mixture of post-metal, rock, and dark-pop that is hard to categorize.

Project Silence new single - One Way to Hell

Project Silence is a Finnish band from the Heart of Northern Savonia which was formed in 2008 by Delacroix on the idea to make aggrotech based music with a mix of metal and industrial. Their musical style is often categorised as experimental industrial metal.

Öhm When Robots F**k Video

Vancouver's electronic project Ohm released their debut video for the single "When Robots F**k" late last month. The video supports the well-received self-titled Ohm debut, which Artoffact Records released worldwide on October 1st.
Ohm is a project that comprises Chris Peterson (Frontline Assembly, Decree) and Craig Joseph Huxtable (Landscape Body Machine), both very active in Vancouver's electronic and industrial scenes.

Tracks marked (1) are from the first (DELETED) Album ‘The Black Paintings’, marked (2) are from the second album ‘The Room’ and (3) from the latest album ‘Wintermute’ Necro Facility are known and praise for a very unique brand of dark, claustrophobic, haunting electronic "death disco", which takes the thoughts back to the glory days of acts such as Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly and Numb.
