Back in the winter of 2010 he found himself snowed-in due to a unusual flurry of extreme weather. Finding himself suddenly isolated in his studio he sat down and composed, in one take, the main passage for "An Idea Of North" which is very evocative of his sense of isolation and the experienced weather patterns.
