Die Weisse Rose - A Martyrium Of White Rose2009-06-12 (News)It might seem strange that a band without a single release to it's name has played concerts and festivals all over Europe. But anyone who has ever experienced Die Weisse Rose on stage knows why. |
Various - ''Darkness Before Dawn 1''2009-06-11 (News)What's the state of the Gothic scene in 2009? Certainly not what the mainstream music media tries to tell you. Goth can still be cool and up to date, it can still provide the sopundtrack for the 21st century. And Goth with its manifolded sub-genres certainly doesn't have to sound old fashioned. Gothic Rock, Wave, Post Punk, Deathrock, Indie, Minimal Electro, old school EBM, New Wave, Electroclash - all these genres are featured on the "Darkness Before Dawn" 2CD compilation, compiled by longtime scene activist Thomas Thyssen. 40 tracks, more than 2,5 hours of music - a great start for this new compilation series. |

Exocet - Grotesque consumer2009-06-08 (News)For their second album Exocet has transformed from two persons into one. Beyond realizing his own creativity, R. Klimaczewski was also responsible for the translation of Dave Kean's ideas and inspirations into this project's music - the result was their first cd in 2008. Unfortunately mr. Kean passed away last year before any new tracks were implemented. Now, in loving memory, klima is getting on with exocet as a solo project. |
