Hidden Place releases debut album

Italian darkwave act Hidden Place's debut album, Fantasia Meccanica, is available now from the Hellektro Empire label. Fellow Italian project The Frozen Autumn appears on two tracks, contributing vocals and remixes to the album's first track, "Spazio Zero." Death in June side project reissues album

"Heaven Sent", the debut album from Scorpion Wind, will be reissued January 14 on Death in June's NER label. Originally released in 1996, Scorpion Wind was a collaboration between Boyd Rice, Death in June founder Douglas P., and percussionist John Murphy (currently of KnifeLadder). The NER reissue will feature brand new artwork and two previously unreleased tracks. "Heaven Sent" is available now for pre-order.

Emilie Autumn releases remixes

Gothic metal artist Emilie Autumn will release a new limited CD, 4 O'Clock, January 18 on Trisol Records. The disc features eight tracks, including an exclusive b-side, four remixed tracks from 2006's Opheliac, and spoken word by Autumn, who reads excerpts from her upcoming book, "The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls."

Velvet Acid Christ finishes Nine Inch Nails remix

In addition to working on a new album, Songs for Villains, Velvet Acid Christ recently finished a string of remixes for artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Emilie Autumn, Brain Leisure and Darker Days Tomorrow. All of the new remixes can be heard on Vampirefreaks.com, and DJs can download the free Nine Inch Nails remix from Velvet Acid Christ's Web site.
