The seventh part of Scontrum serie with nine tracks, 46 minutes of music from three well known acts: A Challenge of Honour, Un Defi D'honneur, Preatorio. The theme and artwork is based on Great War (WWI). To keep the same spirit as previous parts, Scontrum is the only release made on CDR and marked by War Office Propaganda, as will be next parts until the last one. Skon - Nic realnego

SKON is a Polish one-man project that was formed in 2001 in Ziebice, Lower Silesia by Daniel Cichowski. The music Daniel presents is a combination of electro/industrial, gothic and folk. A demo "Nic Realnego", released in 2001, was widely acclaimed both in Poland and abroad. For several years up to 2007 nothing was heard of Skon, and he himself was visiting various places in search for inspiration. He was composing, experimenting with music, completing the electronic studio equipment, guitars and acoustic instruments simultaneously deepening the knowledge on sound realization. This year an officially released CD "Nic Realnego" was out. It has been mastered and it's cover has been changed . It also features four brand new tracks including a harbinger "Zwiastun" that presages new songs...

HIM - "Venus Doom" out now

"Venus Doom" is the sixth studio album by Finnish rock band HIM. According to frontman Ville Valo, it will be their heaviest album yet. "Venus Doom" will still be comprised of Valo's allegorical lyrics, comparable to HIM's older albums. He has also noted that the music on the new album will be comparable to Metallica and My Bloody Valentine. The cover art was painted by artist David Harouni. A special edition of the album includes a Bonus CD with the following remixes: Love In Cold Blood [Special K Remix], Dead Lovers' Lane [Special C616 Remix], and Bleed Well [Acoustic].
