Debut album of Emplosia

Russian female fronted synthpop band Emplosia formed in October 2000 in Saratov, Russia have completed their self-titled debut album. The CD was made available early September 2006 through Russian electro-label Q-code. Emplosia's two front-women Darja and Julia express their view of the modern world using electronic music as the only instrument in their composition, resulting in an alloy of synthpop with elements of darkwave, EBM and retro-pop with warm and heartfelt vocal lines. Emposia have been featured on several Russian synthpop/electro-pop compilations since 2002. Their debut album is comprised of 13 tracks and two remixes by Babymax, and Inner Conflict. Lyrics are both in English and Russian.

Sebastian Komor produces new Ayria album

Together with Jennifer Parkin (Ayria, Epsilon Minus), Sebastian Komor (i. e. Icon Of Coil, Zombie Girl, Moonitor) has started working on Ayria's new album. "The yet untitled album is expected to be released in 2007 while an EP should see the light of day somewhat sooner", according to Alfa Matrix Records.


In Strict Confifence - "The Serpent's Kiss" Tour CD Box

On time with the upcoming Germany tour, In Strict Confifence will present a special release that will at first only be available a the respective shows and later, just very few samples will be sold at selected stores."The Serpent's Kiss" is the title of that triple-EPCD. It will contain some new songs like "Rain" and "Shadow hides Sun", but also club mixes and different versions of the earlier remix- and singing contest. The whole package will contain about 24 titles and will be released only as a limited box edition (999 pieces) with quadratic CDs. There also will be a certificate of authenticity added, containing a serial number and autograph of each band member.

The Gene Generation

VNV Nation's theme to The Gene Generation film is complete. A sample can be streamed on The Gene Generation's myspace page. Ronan Harris is the main music composer providing the score for the movie while Andy La Plaegua (Combichrist) is providing the official soundtrack. The movie is a science fiction film planned for release later this year: "In the dark decadent world of our future, Mankind has found themselves close to the extinction with the last city on Earth. Forced to implement a controversial Natural Selection process, the government built a wall surrounding the last city named Olympia. By a careful selection process using our genes and DNA, the Kalafkan Government chose only the best and most promising to survive the destruction of Olympia, before building a new city where it once was. This process led to a crime known as DNA Hacking, where people steal genes and DNA in hopes of entering Demeter. The government started hiring assassins, to take out and kill these hackers who have polluted the system. In exchange, the Assassins are granted entry to Demeter."
