Italian electro medieval music from FEMINA FABER

Born in 2005, based upon an idea of Paola Bianchi, the FEMINA FABER project fuses the asperity of synthetic and industrial sound with the lyricism of the Latin language using electronic sound (produced by different electronic devices and synth) as a background for Paola Bianchi’s poems, translated to Old Latin by Prof. Alberto Magnani.

LUXURY STRANGER is a band from Nottingham, England, that could well be described as typically British: Musically, they continue the tradition of post punk and new wave. Influences like Joy Division, The Cure and The Chameleons can be recognized easily.

Assemblage 23 releases 2nd volume - Early, Rare, and Unreleased

In conjunction with Assemblage 23's 2007 US 'Meta' tour, 23db Records released a limited edition CD collection of the band's earliest works entitled "Early, Rare, and Unreleased: 1988-1998". Now comes a second volume of this collection that has just been completed and which will hit the shelves on February 10th, also through 23db Records.


Pussybats presents - Famous Last Songs

Finally the German alternative rockers THE PUSSYBATS are to release their long-awaited debut album 'famous last songs' worldwide via Black Rain Records. It has been produced by Chai Deveraux (known as the guitarist of the industrial-glam-rock-band Jesus on Extasy) and Hahn&Hahn, a team which has already worked with acts like Nena, Kim Wilde and the Farmer Boys. The first full-length album is one of the milestones in every young band's career. In this effect a lot of heart, soul, sweat and tears have been put into every aspect of the production. 'the most beautiful tales end sadly', for example, features not only a contrabass, but also a guest pianist and vocalist, Leandra.

Details on new Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode's new album will be called "Sounds of the Universe" and will be released on April 20th in Europe and day later in the USA. Just like on the previous album, "Playing The Angel" from 2005, a part of the material was composed by band's lead vocalist Dave Gahan. The album was produced by Ben Hillier. We can already tell the titles of some tracks: "Wrong" (the first single), "Jezebel", "In Chains" and "Hole To Feed".

Pilori's final album

On 16th January Pilori's new album "Until The Day Dawn" was released. The band confirmed that it will be their final masterpiece and they will split up after 13 years of existence. The duo Pilori was formed in 1996. Three years later Trisol (then: Trinity) signed them up and released four albums. Meanwhile, the project changed into trio.
