Rolf Trostel - Der Prophet

2016-07-21 (News)

Rolf Trostel is a protagonist of the so-called Berlin School, to which belong such artists as Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze. Electronic Pop was the musical goal of Trostel's third album "Der Prophet", which was released in the same year as its predecessor "Two Faces". "Der Prophet" is the culmination of this phase of Trostel's oeuvre, which was tightly coupled to the PPG Wave Computer.

Camera - Phantom of Liberty

2016-07-20 (News)

Camera is rightly compared with icons of seventies Krautrock such as Neu! and La Düsseldorf, with a tight and driving sound, yet they are still somehow unpredictable. Hardly any other band understands how to mutate tiny musical nuances into volcanic eruptions like they do. The Berlin band is a motor running at full throttle, where an explosion could occur at any second. Once you have embarked on this crazy journey, you will be fascinated by the alternating current somewhere between a flash flood and roller coaster running off the rails. The cascades of sound convey a blurry image of a boundless desire to revolt, with each blink of an eye threatening to end in purgatory, yet it is damned near indestructible.

Lord Of The Lost - Empyrean

2016-07-19 (News)

With "Empyrean", Lord Of The Lost have created a dystopian Future-Metal-concept album of epic proportions. The new release takes the listener on a captivating science-fiction-odyssey, driven by a furious mix of Gothic Metal, Glam, Electro, Prog and Industrial. After centuries of gradual self-destruction, humanity embarks on a quest for "Empyrean", a supposedly perfect world that promises hope for deliverance. With their new space trip, Lord Of The Lost have created their most diverse and ambitious album to date. The group's trademark sound of hard Metal-attacks in a perpetual struggle with darkly melodic parts and a keen hand for catchy melodies remains intact but is enhanced by a dominant electronic foundation. Added to the mix are epic choruses in the style of the golden age of Glam Rock, a gripping duet with newcomer Scarlet Dorn in "Black Oxide". The monumental Dark-Metal-space-opera was given an equally massive sound in renowned Chameleon Studios.

Rave The Reqviem - Mono Heart

2016-07-18 (News)

In terms of both songwriting and sound, "Mono Heart" is everything one might expect from Rave The Reqviem and more – boasting major label production quality while packing both a powerful punch and crystal clear mix. As a taste of things to come from the second album itself, "Mono Heart" is almost certain to leave the listener craving for more. The second bonus track comes in the shape of symphonic ballad "The Antedilvvian Lvllaby" and it presents a very different sound from the intensity usually associated with Rave The Reqviem.

Prozium - Plastic Planets

2016-07-17 (News)

Last year, Prozium infiltrated German dancefloors with their solid "Lay My Vengeance" club hit. Powered by their infamous instigators Gerry (Avarice In Audio/Dream Recall) and Lawrie (Studio-X/Avarice In Audio), Prozuim proves with this 7-track mini-album that they are a true tour de force to be reckoned with.
Taking cues from popular Australian electronic acts like Pendulum and Knife Party, alongside more globalized projects like Skrillex and Deadmau5, Prozium is all about pushing the instrumentation and production to more popular places, while retaining the feel and flow Lawrie and Gerry are known worldwide for creating. "Plastic Planets" was designed for high octane party nights, industrial EDM sets and dance floors worldwide…
