Ok so blame are near on impossibly to find anything about via google apart from hip hop and drum n bass. But I stumbled across these guy(s) by accident in a hard ebm torrent. After a google search I can understand why there little known about as its near on impossible to find anything. How ever I know these guys are a darkwave band from Germany. And there quite good!
Ragnarok The Final Winter is a stunning way to start this album. The Synths are very pretty, its mellow but slowly builds up as well as having a strange growing energy to it. There's a clever use of different synths that compliment each other also the vocals seem different from the rest of the scene.
After this strong start I couldn't help but find myself a little bit disappointed when it got to around the middle as it started to fall a bit flat. However until that point its quite enjoyable. For Example Modern Angels is one of the best tracks on this album as well as I Hate Your Evolution.
Its good, each one is different and it uses some awesome samples but it peaks too early meaning it falls a bit flat around the middle. Because of that it stops me liking it more which is a shame because its a well written album which is definately worth checking out.
