Groups from Scandinavia directly reveal an extremely professional musical approach. And that is precisely Boil, Danish band, that already for the third time enables listeners to associate with their music.

Formation skillfully maneuveres with the sound, balancing between different genres, that makes music presented there as more than interesting. Each from the issued compositions on that record has straightforward tones, and sounds contained on the material represent a refined technical workshop, supported by the creativeness of group members, whose zeal in that direction unabates. Differential tones occurring in each of the following tracks, of lasting nearly 50 minutes record, are equipped with a powerful energy charge.
The release starts very intriguing, wherein for the all time the group does not go below the predefined level.
Persistence and consistency, based on the previously mentioned professionalism, bring a refreshing effects, in treatment to up to now rather uneventful rock with its other elements. It would seem, that genre which is quite familiar will no longer give any surprise. Nevertheless. The material on that disc consists of passages, which rate slows down during the play of a particular piece, but at the same time does not lose none of its power. Varied musical motifs are surprising, along with vocal, that changes from singing clean chords, to go back to the brutal growling, to deceive once again serving melodic chants, which reveals the skilful use of singer’s voice capabilities, who perfectly finds himself in each from the established styles, also freely entering in the areas of musical mysticism.
Band’s sound is made both by powerful guitars, broken tones, passing with ease from progressive rock to such stylistically different ambient. But it does not exhaust fully the offer served on that record – when the experiences accompaning to the material seem to come to an end, there come a suddenly attack of overwhelming, aggressive and full of anger tones, that are almost on the border of noise, which only makes the album ravishing and drags back in once again.
Beginning of the record is created by industrial rock, and it is only a foretaste of what will occur in that release in subsequent tracks. And there is hard, but in any case there is not boring at all. Clear message, that comes from it, is the artists were able to find their right musical way, and incidentally they refreshed a dusty genre. Bold crossing of barriers, reinforces that very emotional content, which is also an evidence of a some kind of group’s sound evolution process, that occurred since the previous album - A New Decay.
What is characteristic to the formation it is a sort of strength and commitment, elusive way of conducting the melody, and the ability to woven into whole a catchy song, without falling into a stylistic cliché. It can initially cause a consternation, but this semi-formal melodic experiment, based on applying a mad attention to the music, without regard to any of compromises, allows musicians to pursue their own artistic visions.
Free approach to a variety of genres, combined with the ambitious and sincere playing resulted in the elaboration of a specific sound, which definitely puts compositions included on the record above the average. Band managed to work out a suitable formula for the use of a variety of elements, that does not irritate and surprise, starting with the very initial tones.

That is a mature album, thoughtful and complete in all respects. Progressive and at the same time demanding. Addictive piece of music and a bundle of unconventional experiences.
