Cyanotic - The Medication Generation

It took just one hearing for me to conclude in my private statement 'The Medication Generation "for the album of year 2010. A multitude of components used by the guys from Cyanotic knocks on the knees, because what is not here? Drum and bass, trip-hop, electro, punk (see track "Drek Kick" accompanied with Rabbit Junk) and of course the main stream in which the group is rotating, that means industrial metal. Everything is closed in a bracket of samples with various kind of statements about the abuse of all sorts (though not exclusively).
And how is the listening of this stylish blend? Delicious. Just the second track (the first is the intro) clearly shows the level represented by Cyanotic. The wall of guitars, powerful drum work, changes of pace and interesting electronics, what more could you want? But this is just the beginning, because the further it gets even more interesting. Speeding 'Alt Machine' is a dead cert live hit (or the party one). Next in line 'Dissonant Dissident' with a great riff and the beat is one of my favorites, just like the 'Static Screens' in which drum and bass rhythm has a lead. Just so delicious! You can catch your breath in the works like 'Efficacy' or 'Monochrome Skies', which does not mean that they are boring, on the contrary, their interesting arrangement is the perfect complement to the more aggressive songs, and in a result to the whole album.

As one can easily deduce at the title of the record, the leading theme is addiction. And certainly it is not only as 'mundane' matter as drug addiction, but a more serious issue, as it is not perceived by the majority or ignored. Technology is an important, and recently, an integral part of our culture at the same time becoming our biggest addiction, which no one can really fight and even does not want to, because it would mean the need for a radical change in the temporal life and general development regression. And that one we are already used to. The similar case is with the technology in the form of pharmaceutical products, which some of us buy and take enormously hoping to improve the beauty, health, or a well-being. No matter how masked, technology has entered our lives with the shoes, and we smile at her while we serve the tea. And that is what this disc tell us about. But who expects a moralistic gibberish can be sorely disappointed, because the gentlemen of Cyanotic although indicate some cases of an obvious 'overdose', such as: syndrome of a chronic staring at the TV, it's far to convert humanity. For an illustration can be used the songs 'Alt Machine' and 'Drek Kick'.

Who would listen to would understand. More of these records!
