Tides From Nebula
Imagine a sea, an endless cold sea. And you want to sail it far and wide on your boat. But suddenly, unexpectedly dark clouds gather on the horizon and they are coming with an incredible speed. They overlie the sky, darkness falls. The first flash of light brightens the night. Your boat trembles from the first thunder. And the storm begins. Ruthless, without end. After moments of fierce struggle with the elements your boat falls into pieces and an icy current pulls you to the bottom. Waves battle above your head. Scattered light flickers like stars. And you know now that you're in the right place - within the impact range of Tides From Nebula.
That’s how one could describe the whole show, as an endless journey inside their own imagination. The instrumental tracks make such a perfect whole that it's hard to determine when one song has ended and the next began. But one thing is clear – the show didn’t let anyone stand still. The audience, which filled the Eskulap hall to the brim, gave itself completely to the music and followed the band on a journey full of energy. Heavier moments intertwined with moments of relief. Immediately after them guitar and drums whirlwind penetrated every millimeter of the room and every viewer. Everyone was captivated and showed it to the band rewarding them after every song with a warm applause. The show definitely made a great impression. Not only on me.
God Is An Astronaut
I must admit that after listening to songs available on band’s website I expected something completely different. I expected a quiet rock music and I clashed with a veritable guitar and drum chaos enriched with keys. Surprise, but a pleasant one.
This band also took audience, gathered in large numbers, on a journey. But this time it was the trip a lot more brutal, fierce and energetic. There were extremely heavy tracks, hammering to the ground, as well as ones that made it impossible to stand still and not to jump.
For the encore the band came with the only calmer song in the set, but the concert ended in an energetic and rocking way, leaving the desire for much more.
I must admit that a really nice thing was the moment when the band asked the entire audience to rise their hands up in the air to take a photo.
