On this new album Sam Rosenthal is joined by an all new band: Brian Viglione (The Dresden Dolls & WORLD/INFERNO) plus vocalists Athan Maroulis (Spahn Ranch), Laurie Reade (Attrition) and Nicki Jaine. Guest appearances by Lucas Lanthier (Cinema Strange/The Deadfly Ensemble), Michael Laird (Unto Ashes) & Elysabeth Grant.

The German ritual-folk-formation:Golgatha: was founded in 2004 by Christoph Donarski. The first full length album ‘Waste Land’ after two compilation tracks appeared in an edition of 100 hand-numbered CD-rs. ‘Waste Land’ is the rare prequel to the acclaimed and successful 2008-album ‘Sang Graal’ band is itself inspired by T. S. Eliot’s enigmatic grail-poem ‘The Waste Land’ which works as a key metaphor for a spiritually dying world.

It has been 2 years since [: SITD:] released the previous album "Bestie: Mensch" and already this fall will be the latest longplay entitled "Rot". Most of the songs and the texts are ready. Recordings are made in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). Details of the artwork, tracklisting will be given over the next few weeks. At present, we know that the title has a symbolic meaning.
