SEABOUD will not play with Cobenant in USA

SEABOUND has cancelled his tour with Covenant in USA. As far as we know the booking agency is to be blamed. Covenant trip will be postponed, and Seaboud cannot take part because of their regular day job duties.

November release for yet another best of for Depeche Mode

November 13th will see yet another Depeche Mode best of being released via Mute/EMI. No tracklist is known so far for this early Christmas present but we were informed that the band is to record at least one new track for the single CD album. 2006 seems to be one of the most active years for the band ever, While the band is still busy with its tour, its label started re-releasing the band's back catalogue in SACD format (including bonus material), a series of live CDs is being released via the Liveherenow imprint and a live DVD is also to hit the stores in September. Expect at least one new single for late 2006.

Solo album for ex-Cocteau Twins guitarist

Out on Darla Records is Robin Guthrie's second instrumental album, "Continental". As Cocteau Twins guitarist and producer, Robin Guthrie was responsible for creating the sound for My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Ride, and so on. The ingredients for this release are shimmering guitars and ethereal moods. This is the first of four new Robin Guthrie records for Darla.

Arcana singns to Kalinkaland Records

Swedish cult band Arcana has decided to sign up for the next full-length album to German label Kalinkaland Records. Since 2003 Arcana has been under the wings of Peter Bjärgös' own label Erebus Odora, but lack of time and financial difficulties makes it hard to keep it up. Kalinkaland's 4 AD feeling, with bands not only into the gothic and industrial scene (artists like Jo Gabriel, Idaho, Unto Ashes, Soul withering somewhere and Harald Löwy's own Chandeen) is a good choice for Arcana.

As they say, the dates of release of remastered Depeche Mode albums are known, including SOFAD and '101'

September 8: “Ultra”, “Songs of Faith and Devotion Live”.
September 22: “101”, “Black Celebration”, “Construction Time Again”, “Exciter”.
September 29: “A Broken Frame”, “Songs of Faith and Devotion”, “Some Great Reward”.

Live DVD from current Touring The Angel Tourne will be also released on 29 September, it will be 3CDs digiopack with full length concert recorded in Milan i February with lots of bonuses.
