25 years of Attrition

Attrition are celebrating their 25th anniversary with the release of a 16 track CD of rare, re-mixed and re-mastered works. "Tearing arms from Deities" is the debut release on Attrition's own record label Two Gods marketed worldwide by Voiceprint records and includes versions of "Two Gods", "The Mercy Machine" ('97 remix), "I am (eternity), "Monkey in a bin", "A'dam & Eva", "Into the waves", "Cosmetic Citizen" (the Stromkern remix) and the darkwave classic "A girl called harmony".

The album cover is by renowned US artist Matt Lombard who also designed the last Cradle of Filth album.

Archives of Portion Control

Legendary electronic band Portion Control will collect their first five vinyl albums onto CD. Called simply “Portion Control – Archive”, it comes limited to 1000 copies and is designed as a box set. Additionally, it has a bonus disc with MP3 versions of the mentioned albums, hundreds of images, and a WAV-file of “Refugee Rebuild” remixed by Rhys Fulber. Out on June 16.

IAMX returns

IAMX, side project of Chris Corner – Sneaker Pimps vocalist will start tournee all over Europe. The plan is to visit Belguim, Germany, Holland, Czech Rep., Austria and Switzerland. It is a part of promotion new album called „The Alternative” – that will be released on 28 Apr 2006. They say it sound less electronically than old songs of I AM X.

Pet Shop Boys - "Fundamental"

"Fundamental" is the ninth studio album of synthpop giants Pet Shop Boys and it is due for release on May 22nd, 2006. The album was produced by Pet Shop Boys and Trevor Horn and it will feature a short introduction track, ten new Pet Shop Boys compositions, and Numb a Diane Warren penned song, inspired in part by the recent death of Warren's mother.
