New album of Insekt

Insekt was created 1989 by Mario Vaerewijck  and Eric Van Wonterghem, members of the  Belgian 80's EBM legends Vomito Negro and Klinik. Since that time strong rhythm, harsche  vocals, breaking down samples and melody lines, stand as synonyms for insekt.

Now the two finally again common time are working hard for a new studio album, which will be released on 12 May under the Noise Terror Productions, label of the Suicide Commando Masterminds Johan Van Roy. On the album, which is called "Teen Machine", one will not only find the EBM boards, but also some devised compositions, which reminds nearly of Nine inch Nails. .To present their new album Insekt also will go on tour with Suicide Commando.

New retrospective release of Band of Pain

In 1994 Steve Pittis of Splintered started the side project Band of Pain,
creating both beautiful and disturbing avant garde electronics. Since then he has released numerous records and CDs, and many of them has now become very rare.

Swedish record label, Fin de Siècle Media, offer to us "Through the Past Darkly" - double album, which contains a "best of", as well as rare singles and previously unreleased recordings of Band of Pain.

Antichrisis was created as a single person project only in 1995 by songwiter and musician SID. It was joined by Willowcat – singer later on and within a few moths they have recorded a legendary 80min long demo tape called „Missa Deposituim Custodi” that was sold in 500 copies right after it’s release. In 1997 they recorded debut LP called „Cantara Anachoreta” – very well rated by music press. Then they’ve changed a label on Napalm Records and released „A legacy of love” with new singer Lisa. They have also staged with Tristiania and Trail of Tears. In 2005, after recording „The Legacy Remains” Sid decided to re-record „legacy” and the effect sounds great. „Legacy of Love Mark II” contains 100% hits.

Fatboy Slim - forthcoming greatest hits compilation

Fatboy Slim has revealed full details of his forthcoming greatest hits compilation. The 18-track album, 'Greatest Hits - Why Try Harder', is released on June 19. It will include  two exclusive new tracks - 'Champion Sound' and forthcoming single 'That Old Pair Of Jeans'. A limited edition version of his greatest hits, which comes complete with a DVD, features 10 of his best videos including "Praise You" and the award-winning "Weapon Of Choice". This version will also be available from June 19. A full DVD release entitled 'The Greatest Hits - Why Make Videos' will follow on July 17.

Limited edition Depeche Mode vinyl

The closing track "The Darkest Star" from Depeche Mode's "Playing The Angel" album is released as an extremely limited edition 12" vinyl-only single. Featuring two dark re-workings (Holden Remix and Holden Dub) from producer and Border Community mainman James Holden, "The Darkest Star" will not be released in any other format.

A must for Depeche Mode collectors and fans...

AFX "Chosen Lords"
