onDeadWaves - onDeadWaves

2016-05-19 (News)

Polly Scattergood and James Chapman (Maps) aka onDeadWaves announce details of their self-titled debut album.
The album is heavy of atmosphere, rich in melody, rippled with an air of malice and flowing female and male vocals. "onDeadWaves" is out on CD, digital and as a limited edition vinyl which comes with a signed art print.
Listen to a brand new track, "California", here: https://youtu.be/1jZqlJjXK4Y.
The seeds of James Chapman and Polly Scattergood’s creative partnership were sown in 2011, at Mute’s legendary Short Circuit festival.
Though each had primarily worked alone before, there was something natural about the chemistry between them.
onDeadWaves have been sharing mixes of tracks, charting a few of their favourite things right now. Follow their mixtapes here: https://soundcloud.com/ondeadwaves.

Invoke The Insult - You Can Trust

2016-05-18 (News)

Jonas and Klas found their common interest in electronic music genre that made it natural for them to create music together. They have brought the music to a new level.
The inspiration from the old factory in which they make their music is one of many things that makes the wheels turn. Invoke The Insult has been active for 5 years.
Invoke The Insult is based on the love for the electronic machines ability to create sound. The fluctuations and unnatural noise takes the experience to a level rarely found in other music. The inspiration of that sound is what has brought Jonas and Klas together. Invoke The Insult: "The lack of planning and curiosity in how the next song will sound is one of many things that inspire us. We try to follow as few rules as possible when we make music.
Earlier engagements are now a distant memory as we both live for Invoke The Insult. We and the machines are one. Circuits and flashing diodes are the only energy sources we need. The noise and electronic clicking is what moves us forward."

This new release features 4 brand new songs showing the band’s creative and diverse music scope… "After The Break Up" is an uplifting melodic song, whose highly emotional touch gets nicely highlighted through the remix work of Chris R & Jaroslav Vyhnička and their piano/strings-rock crossover version, as well as the epic carrying EDM electro remix by ExoSun. "The Greater Unknown" is a more uptempo club song gathering Essence Of Mind’s characteristic cocktail of pop rock and industrial dance with Erlend’s unique powerful and charismatic catchy vocals… While "Surrender" subtly fuses the melodic strength of the band with its more hard-hitting powerful side, the big sounding ballad "Until We’re Dead" makes us reach other highlights on this release together with the successful uptempo drum’n’bass remix of «The Other Side» by Vigilante.

Avarice In Audio - Crystal Tears

2016-05-14 (News)

Avarice In Audio show their incredible collaboration on "Crystal Tears" with the great dark synth pop band and label mates Mondträume. With impeccable synergy, the two bands have accomplished a flawless fusion of styles and created something greater than the sum of their parts.
Produced expertly with Ascension Ex alongside new bandmate Lawrie/Studio-X, "Crystal Tears" is a beautiful emotional song mixed with both aggressive and melodic male vocals, alongside soaring female vocals set to an instrumental backdrop of IDM and Drum 'N Bass leanings, "Crystal Tears" manage to both slow things down and increase the tension and tempo, blending things together like a work of art.
Accentuated finely with the Trip Hop/Experimental B-Side "Adam & Eve", this 7-track EP proves the band’s pure emotive prowess and focus on audio design.
