Michigan is a Swedish band of a very good technique that plays high quality music with excellent, emotional lyrics. "Ultimate Sky" is the band's second album and it is definitely worth listening. It was published (just after the single 'Red Dawn") in 2004 in the US and in 2005 in Europe. What  may be found on the CD are the songs of middle speed:from tender ballads with a great vocal like "Control Of Me","The Final-Song" or "At Time" to those faster, electronic ones like "My Own Denial" and "Destiny's Line". Though the album opens with a song "Sad Queen" : very melodious, including rock fragments, pleasant to listen, only the second track engrosses the listener in. 'Control Of Me", though calm, has quite sad lyrics:

"…The dark of the Moon smiles at me now, he tells me to believe love again
That I never understand
You take control of me
But I  wont feel you comming my arms again…"

and as such is memorable. Additionally there is its mix on the album (April Mix) which I personally like best. It's club-like, hard and it attracts attention. "A Ride In Time" is another slow track, it balances between the emotional refrain and particular stanzas. 'Red Dawn" is similar to it with its middle speed and the second version (Radio Edit) at the end of the CD. "My Own Denial" is a wonderful, energetic and danceable. It's definitely one of those fast tracks on the CD. The whole album is very solid and harmonious: each song has its place, electronic background is very catchy and all this makes the album unique. I strongly recommend it!
