This is a very interesting album - I thought after the first hearing. After the second one I was still stuck with it, and now - after countless times – I still remain in the belief, that this album is worth to listen and to hearing to almost (with an exception that proves the rule) each track.
We are talking about MOONLIGHT COVE – a synthpop band founded by Markus Landgren (vocal), Mattias Löfroth (synthesizers), Marcus Karlsson (synthesizers) in Sweden. Their fate is pretty weird, and there is a little information about them: they are alike to be created in 1994, called themselves seven years later, and only in 2007 they recorded their album.

The album consists of 10 tracks that are emotionally heavily involved. Each of them tells about despair, but also about hope, grief and joy. Every track is ambivalent. About the sad things Landgren sings in a rather cheerful manner and it is accompanied by the vivid sounds coming from synthesizers. And conversely: about the good things, positive ones the vocalist sings at a slower pace, and even the synthesizers slow down. Discourage only omnipresent loops, but an excuse for the guys can be the fact, that there are only three of them, and they play for five.

I recommend hearing of the publishing, when you have a good mood. You will then catch up the very nice, almost floating with poetry texts (by Mattias Löfroth), but... These are simple lyrics, not sophisticated, ones, that can reach everyone. Someone may say, that they are tendentious, but why about things that are difficult, like love, fidelity, speak in a difficult way, since each of us has to deal with them?

Particularly noteworthy are tracks: Stranger, Hero of Mine, Last of the Heartbroken, Forever We, Embrace of your Shadow.
Usually I avoid: This is Euphoria and Save, which are so vivid, that I have nausea.

I wish you guys good luck for further musical way and I wish you much more publicity, so I encourage you to visit their fanpage www.facebook.com/pages/Moonlight-Cove/110691464078‎ and to hear their debut album "Orphans of the Storm".
