Prorok is a relatively new band coming from Chełm. The members are: founder – Karolina Ryniak (guitar), Inga Linkert (vocal), Tomasz Szewczyk (bass guitar), Dominik Brodawka (drums), Michał Słomiński (piano).
These young people, in spite their different characters, have a common passion and fresh attitude towards music and their stubbornness and wish to convey something important make them create their debut album entitled "Teatr Marionetek".
This release is a mixture of different genres by which band’s members are influence. It should be interesting especially for the fans of melodious metal and alternative music but not only. The piano makes it similar to symphonic metal, drums make it heavier and classical vocal involving huge talent keeps the whole in the atmosphere of romantic gothic which allows us to touch the beauty.
It is enough to listen to lyrics to find rich metaphor and symbolism, which deals with people’s problems and pays attention to the way how to remain an individual in the crowd.
It should be mentioned that the single "Zatrute Miasta" occupied 24th position in Kuba Wojewódzki’s chart (including over 450 bands).
