Atrium Carceri & Apocryphos, Kammarheit - Onyx

2015-10-05 (News)

3 veteran producers in the genre, Apocryphos, Kammarheit & Atrium Carceri, collaborate on this behemoth of an album. Each utilizing each others strengths to bring forth a dark and emotional ride through distant memories. "Onyx" is a soundscape journey related to the reflection of dispirited memories and obscure sorrows felt by mankind. With the multitude of techniques used by each artist, it also reflects the rich history of the dark ambient genre and how it has progressed through the decades.
The signature analogue darkness of gargantuan caves of Kammarheit is combined with the sacral and emotional layering of Apocryphos and the rhytmical bass throbbing and isolated pianos of Atrium Carceri. This album was created by cross linking 3 studios in Oregon (US), Pennsylvania (US) and Umeå(Sweden). It took over 3800 lines of studio notes to finalize the album.

Bodykomplex - Karma

2015-10-04 (News)

Kris and Olaf finally created debut album! The Bodykomplex music style are oldschool EBM formulas minded especially to be danced in utter fun. Dry uptempo percussiveness mechanically cadenced, intercalated by minimal intersections of synth and by exciting vocals pronounced in Finnish:  this is the true essence of "Karma", an album full of energy and electro verve. The fourteen tracks of the release are distinguished by their perfect linearity, planned through irresistible strategies and through a constant level of involvement.
This full-lenght must be listened at very loud volume and danced with all your physical strength: all songs will spread their power and their technological effervescence, catching immediately your senses and leaving you stunned.

Snog – Compliance

2015-10-03 (News)

SNOG brings you the latest in mass content delivery, reflexive ideological hygiene, inappropriate social observation, techno-Ludditism, recombinant satire, ersatz gallows humour, gratuitous gender reassignment and audio-sedation. Cheerful to the end, SNOG cast their collective gaze toward innovations in apocalyptic banality, enthusiastic drone obedience and mediocre weekend totalitarianism. All done with a twinkle in their eyes and a swivel in their hips.
Sympathetic, synthetic and cynical, our trusty troubadours spread their disloyal seed far and wide - wholly innocent targets like superannuated senior citizens, venture capitalists, technophiles and the mercantile class are spared no vitriol nor offered any comfort.
Industrious skeptics with hearts full of anachronistic, discerning hot love.
Ensure your medication/inoculation is at hand, a necessary prophylactic against proselytizing, puffery and polemics.

Aesthetic Perfection - Blood Spills Not Far from the Wound

2015-10-02 (News)

In 2007, Daniel Graves released the album "Blood Spills Not Far from the Wound" under the moniker Necessary Response. It was a collection of songs originally intended for release on "Close to Human", the debut album from Aesthetic Perfection, but their less aggressive nature lead to their removal. After one record, Daniel declared the project dead and focused entirely on Aesthetic Perfection. After nearly a decade of bitterness and regret towards what he viewed as a desecration of his artistic vision, Daniel resurrect the project and each song was deconstructed and rebuilt, track by track using the original recordings. Every effort was taken to stay true to the original versions while improving the sonic quality. So the songs could survive and continue on as Aesthetic Perfection, as it had always been intended.
"Blood Spills Not Far from the Wound" is revived with newly recorded vocals, and new artwork. Remixed, re-mastered, and lead by the unreleased B-Side "Never Enough". Also features a piano rework of "Devotion"” with Lauren Krothe. It is a complete re-envisioning of the record that never was. Graves has finally brought this album back into the Aesthetic Perfection fold, bringing the band one step closer to what he’s always wanted it to be.
