Chicago hiphop artist earmint starts industrial project Grauwelt

Grauwelt is Robert Krums; An electronic artist who as a teenager saturated himself with the music of Wax Trax recording artists like KMFDM and Ministry, as well as earlier electronic groups like Cabaret Voltaire and Depeche Mode. Obs olete his new album contains elements of hip-hop, early techno, and even drum and bass can be heard occasionally emerging. One early listener described the song, "The Long Way" as, "DJ Shadow meets Nine Inch Nails," while the jittery dance-punk of "Evacuation" recalls early Devo. The album inspired is by old horror movies as well.

Trail of Tears new album - ''Bloodstained Endurance''

The resurrected Trail of Tears are back with their sixth album, "Bloodstained Endurance", out on Napalm Records. The band recorded the material in the Soundsuite Studio in Marseille, France together with Terje Refsnes. The album includes 11 songs and a limited edition album with an additional four or five bonus tracks will also be issued. Producer Terje Refsnes also did the production for Tristania's and Sirenia's most successful releases. "Bloodstained Endurance" was mastered by Finnvox.

Depeche Mode to issue live sets complete "Tour of The Universe 2009"

Depeche Mode are ready to repeat the Live Here Now approach for their upcoming world "Tour of The Universe 2009", so various Depeche Mode websites report. This means that every concert will be released as a 2CD set and download. It will be the second time that Depeche Mode chooses this approach. Almost the complete last half of their 2005/2006 "Touring The Angel" tour was also available as 'legal bootlegs' via the EMI company Live Here Now. Just like last time, fans will be able to buy vouchers at the shows and online. Expect to pay around 20 UK Pound per CD set and 12 UK Pound for the download.
