This is not a best-of. This is how some of 'the best of' should sound, says Matt Howden (Sieben). This album release symbolises an end for me, a summing-up of my best work so far. I'm after a new sound with the next album, and a new feel. Though it will still be trade-mark loop and violin layers.

And, at last, the long awaited second album of the italian trio CLEPSYDRA, a group that seem to be directly influenced (from the music Heaven) by Syd Barrett and Jerry Garcia. Their original psychedelic formula is boosted in this new album with even more capturating sounds with the use of an HAMMOND B4, synthesizers, violin and trumpet. A real "trip" in a native American land full of magic and enchanted visions.

Two Worlds Double Debut Release at WAERLOGA Records

OIL 10 is one of the most famous projects in the mix-genre of Cinematic Ambient and Dancefloor, and - in addition to that - one of the most important bands on the Funkwelten label. Both of the last two albums "Arena" and "Beyond" are essential parts of every well-assorted Electronica CD-collection. For more than a decade this project has been producing individual and wonderful sound collages. 10 years of OIL 10 - reason enough for us to have a retrospective on all these great sounds.
