The Alfa Matrix Anniversary Compilation

In August 2006, the Belgian label ALFA MATRIX celebrates its 5th Anniversary. For this occasion, a Special Deluxe Carton Box Double CD label compilation, "Alfa Matrix Re:Connected ( 2.0 )" is released featuring EXCLUSIVE and PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED material from ALL artists in the Matrix.

As a special feature to make this release even more valuable to collector’s, an extended colour booklet is included to visually enhance the experience ! Since its creation, Alfa Matrix has established itself as one of the few unavoidable label references for quality Electronic / EBM / Industrial music. Refusing to be typecast into a fixed format, Alfa Matrix quickly built a varied international roster accentuated by influential artists including pioneers such as FRONT 242, LEAETHER STRIP, MENTALLO & THE FIXER, MONOLITH, PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE and more alongside a stable of outstanding newcomers. This special compilation serves as a BIG 'thank you' to all fans, DJs, promoters and journalists who have supported the label since its launch.

For the occasion, many of the Alfa Matrix band did not hesitate to reveal Brand New songs : I:SCINTILLA and TECHNOIR present the title songs of their forthcoming respective EP's. AYRIA, SEIZE and UNTER NULL all offer guaranteed highlights on this compilation. P.N.E., DUNKELWERK, IMPLANT, SERO.OVERDOSE, INURE, DISKONNEKTED, HEADSCAN, KLUTAE, GLIS and REGENERATOR all present fresh Unreleased Tracks. Additionally "Alfa Matrix Re:Connected ( 2.0 )" also enjoys Exclusive Mixes from ZOMBIE GIRL, TAMTRUM, MONOLITH, LEAETHER STRIP, AGONISED BY LOVE and NEIKKA RPM. FRONT 242, NEBULA-H, MENTALLO & THE FIXER, O.V.N.I. and AIBOFORCEN sweeten the compilation by presenting rare cuts. And last but not least, the appearance of the label's recent signings MIND:STATE from Sweden, STRAY ( side-project of Erica Dunham - aka UNTER NULL ), SKANDA ( first official release by the new harsh EBM project of a;GRUMH's frontman J3 with AIBOFORCEN's mastermind Benoit Blanchart ) and a Special and Exclusive instrumental contribution for the occasion by Claus Larsen under his own name round out this fantastic release...out at 29 august !
