Schwarzblut - Judas

2015-09-24 (News)

This EP features a fine selection of interpretations of Schwarzblut’s music from all around the globe. From a geeky Commodore 64 remix, to the metal guitars of Hell:Sector. From the prophecy of doom by Cardinal Noire, to the haunted hypnotic chants of Pre:Emptive Strike 0.1. The EP also features two loud-and-proud remixes by Binary Division and Noise Junk, that made them the winners of Schwarzblut’s remix contest. Putting Schwarzblut’s raw recordings in the hands of others resulted in a broad variety of remixes that makes the 10-track "Judas" EP reflect the band's approach to music: wholehearted, unrestricted, tying old words to the current state of affairs. A full conceptual work again from this unique collective work of art Schwarzblut, whose work is based on historic German poetry and carried by organic-electronic music and which is constantly outlined by a haunting visual context of imagery in their artwork and live performances.

Avarice In Audio - World Without Song

2015-09-23 (News)

To announce new release entitled "Apollo & Dionysus", Avarice In Audio proudly present the first single "World Without Song" that simply exceeds all expectations. "World Without Song" definitely serves as a perfect teaser: a devastating dark elektro club anthem, penned by Gerry Hawkins and Chris Anderson (formerly of Dream Recall) and produced expertly with Ascension Ex. This new song, augmented with genre bending remixes by Acylum, but also Crowns of Bone, Seraphim System, Axiom & Benjamin's Plague ensure there is something for everyone. From the darkest styles of aggrotech, trance, trap & dubstep, "World Without Song" proves to be a versatile song when handed to raw talent! And last but certainly not least, is a trance/techno hybrid B-side song, exclusive to this single titled "Last Judgement" calling upon apocalyptic feelings and explosive release; and again reminding us how versatile and unpredictable Avarice In Audio can be.

Acylum - Venom

2015-09-22 (News)

An aggressive, dirty and suffocating brand new track featuring Acylum’s dense and lingering slow-paced darkish side in its original version which gets augmented with 8 alternative remixes including a massive club version by DJ Ele or yet a splendid retake by legendary German duo Psychic Force. Add to this the other exclusive cut "Sueños Rotos" featuring guest vocals by Carlos Ruiz (frontman of Dioxyde, Asseptic Room).

New Order - Music Complete

2015-09-21 (News)

The long awaited album will be New Order’s first full studio release since 2005’s"Waiting For The Siren’s Call". "Music Complete" finds the group revitalised, and where the group has previously pushed toward electronics or guitars, here the two are in balance. "Music Complete" also marks a return to the studio for Gillian Gilbert, this is her first album with New Order since 2001’s "Get Ready". Album  is produced by New Order, except ‘Singularity’ and ‘Unlearn This Hatred’, both produced by Tom Rowlands, while ‘Superheated’ features additional production by Stuart Price. Long-term collaborator Peter Saville provides art direction.

Thomas Ragsdale - Bait

2015-09-20 (News)

"The album started life purely as a film score to Dominic Brunt's gripping UK thriller 'Bait', but rather than just release the various background drones and atmospheres, I re-opened the pieces I gave Dominic and started to re-imagine the whole thing as one complete album.
After carefully editing the original soundtrack by expanding on some parts, and cutting back on others, 'Bait' was sequenced to take you down a similar path to the movie: at once beautiful as it is beguiling, intense as it is disturbing - shimmering drones give way to gnarled bass, refracting synth lines clatter over arctic atmospheres." - Thomas Ragsdale.

Lloyd Cole - 1D

2015-09-19 (News)

In preparation for his collaboration with Hans-Joachim Roedelius two years ago ("Selected Studies Vol. 1") British singer-songwriter Lloyd Cole recorded plenty of electronic music that hasn't been released yet. "1D" is a collection of the best pieces of this "unused" music. None of the pieces involves the use of a piano keyboard or a computer, except to record it. Some modulations were executed by hand. Most were generated by programmed sequencers and logic. Each piece is a self contained electronic circuit.
