New video from Evestus

2015-12-05 (News)

The Estonian industrialist releases the first song from his upcoming album "All Goes Black" (due in spring 2016) revealing a more grunge influenced industrial rock sound of the 90s.
Take a look into the home of an Industrial Rocker Evestus in his new intimate music video where he honestly depicts his life with addiction, rejection and frustration towards the people around him.
"Not everything that is broken is meant to be fixed" discusses Evestus and describes how "Watch You Leave" was the last song written for the new album, capturing best the current mood and state of the artist: "It made sense to release this song first, as a way to symbolise the end of the writing process, too."
Evestus has been writing and recording the new material since January 2015, setting up studio at a remote location by the sea, in solitude, in Estonia.
The heavily distorted vocals, tortured guitar sound and pulsating mechanical rhythm of this song is descriptive of the mood while not defining the overall sound of the upcoming album which will be "angrier, faster and heavier with a dirty yet focused industrial sound that should be familiar to the fans of 90-s Ministry and Nine Inch Nails sound" promises Evestus.

Megaherz - Erdwärts

2015-12-02 (News)

"Zombieland", the latest studio album by Germans Megaherz, is still haunting our auditory canals, and the five piece has already been busy working on fresh shenanigans: "Look forward to the new Megaherz shredfest!" The band announced their new EP "Erdwärts". There are four new and very varied songs on this EP: two of them feature pure riff-laden heaviness, mid-tempo classic one and a slow and broody track that will be the talk of the town. On top of that and just like with "Götterdämmerung" and "Zombieland", two Megaherz classics were re-recorded – fans can now enjoy new versions of faves including ‘Teufel‘ and ‘Jordan‘.
Lyric wise, fear is at the heart of it all: fear of the unknown and fear of a world that seems chaotic and out of control. It`s time to stop hiding and face those fears! ‘Glorreiche Zeiten` (‘Glorious times‘) on the other hand wishes strength to dreamers aiming to fulfill their biggest dreams. ‘Einsam‘ (‘Lonely‘) tells the story of the demise of a relationship with a twist: the one who leaves seems rather gleeful! This is a wondrous mix and a mighty appetizer for the Megaherz German tour in January 2016 – and something to shorten the wait for the band’s next album.
