Mono Inc. & Joachim Witt - Kein Weg zu weit2013-08-19 (News)MONO INC. open another chapter of their creativity! Mean? Joachim Witt and MONO INC. mastermind Martin Engler became close friends since Witt's latest album and since then they celebrate the "Club Of Living Poets" every week. Joachim benefits from the fact that Martin is an excellent cook - Witt can do nothing on the stove, but he delights in fine dining. During the meetings of the "Club Of Living Poets" abstruse ideas emerged. One of them was to make a common number (not surprising at first sight), but as the question arose of who should sing which language, they did not come to each other at first. But then as Witt texted an English verse and Martin did a German chorus the convolutions of the two were really active. The love to music has connected the two poles! The result is a song in which Martin, inspired by Joachim, kept the German chorus, whereupon Joachim contributed a purely German verse. The result is titled "Kein Weg Zu Weit" and "shall encourage people", the MONO INC.-singer and Witt unison. |
Covenant - Leaving Babylon2013-08-18 (News)With 2011’s "Modern Ruin" still a fresh memory, Covenant is already back with a brilliant follow-up, entitled Leaving Babylon. Beat-heavy yet introspective, Leaving Babylon is Covenant’s sonic exploration into uncharted emotional waters. It’s the feeling of memory made sound—the melancholy of Sweden in the wintertime, the strange beat of electric hearts, and the longing for forgotten parties. It's time to listen. It's time to heed the sound of the sirens. What are they telling us? Who is really playing the tunes we dance to? We are not Leaving Babylon. Not yet. |

ESA - Themes of Carnal Empowerment Pt. 2: Deceit2013-08-14 (News)ESA returns with part two of his conceptual album series 'Themes of Carnal Empowerment'. Continuing where ‘Pt. 1: Lust’ left off, ESA once again offers a powerful rhythmic noise assault spanning 11 hard-hitting new industrial tracks. From the very start, the album charges forward with one breathless sonic cavalcade after another from throbbing basslines and guttural vocals to funk laden breakbeats and feverish pounding beats. Always engaging and never disappointing, ESA skillfully executes another vigorous collection that aligns his focus not just on mere rhythmic structures and harsh beats, but masterfully injects a rare creative depth and serendipitous atmospheric climate into his works that ultimately sets him apart from the crowd. This is ESA's finest hour. |
