Bohren und der Club of Gore already has a reputation for 15 years to the combination of minimalist music and jazz with gothic and drone sounds. The group was founded in 1992 in a provincial german Muelheim an der Ruhr, still is not huge windfall for fans of experimental music.Ghastly name is inspired from the Danish formation Gore. For the fascination Bohren... grant among others Olaf Parusel from german band sToa and Mike Patton, who invited them to the All Tomorrow Parties Festival, where they play at the side ofFantomas and the Melvins.

On 13 October they realeased new abum called Dolores. And despite the fact that doesnot bring revolutionary solutions ,deservedly meet with enthusiastic reviews in prestigious music magazines. Dolores brings music, which would be an ideal soundtrack to the dark crime story or thriller. Dusted Magazine writes about: "hitchcockian skills of music". Bohren phenomen lies in combining jazz with drone metal. They say: "unholy ambient mixture of slow jazz ballads, Black Sabbath doom and drown tuned Autopsy of sound". All "disgoregraphy"is strongly inspired by(((Sun 0))) and Isis (Bohren incidentally cooperate with them). Nowadays "Dukes of Darkness" (Rolling Stone) held joint tour with Alexander Tucker.

Since the message about their planned gig in Poznan,it is a rumor,it would be worth invite them to a summer festival.I think, that the gothic castle courtyard in Bolkow, has become this music to the new deeper dimension.
